This month also comes during a difficult time for these communities, as intensified ICE activity continues to spread fear across Maryland, Virginia, and DC. We stand in solidarity with these communities as we work toward a Greater Washington where everyone can thrive, free from fear.

These numbers reflect decades of structural inequity as well as the disproportionate effects of recent federal job cuts. As our region organizes for fair wages and workers' rights, we remain committed to funding the systems change work that addresses the root causes of these disparities.
