Picture Road Productions is a DC-based production company formed by experienced producers and former network executives Ross Babbit and Dale Roy Robinson. With the backing of ABC’s Lincoln Square Productions (What Would You Do, In An Instant, Madoff, The Assets, Boston Med), Picture Road is producing and developing smart, engaging formats and cinematic docuseries for a wide range of networks. was most recently SVP of Programming and Development at Travel Channel, overseeing a team of Executive Producers and a slate of 400+ original hours a year (Expedition Unknown, Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations, Mysteries at the Museum, Booze Traveler.) Before moving to DIY, Ross worked as a producer in New York for CBS, Food Network, Comedy Central, and others. Dale was most recently an Executive Producer at Travel Channel, developing and overseeing up to 20 pilots/series/specials at a time. Shows included Rev Runs Around the World, Big Crazy Family Adventure, Watt’s World, 50/50 and Trip Flip. He worked for HGTV and DIY as a Director of Programming and Development prior, developing and overseeing shows that included Renovation Raiders, Sledgehammer, Man Caves, Going Yard, My Yard Goes Disney,
Extreme Homes, and You Live in What? In the years leading up to that, Robinson was a show runner and producer in LA on shows like MTV’s Undressed, Jamie Kennedy’s Blowin’ Up, Pranked and Hurl.
