Dear Parents,
We are pleased to announce that tickets for the Palm Beach Public Strings Spring Concert, scheduled for Thursday, April 30th, are still available.
Tickets: https://palmbeachpublicstrings.seatyourself.biz/
What to know before the concert?
Please use Fern Street to access the parking lot at Dreyfoos School of the Arts located at 970 Fern Street, West Palm Beach, FL. 33401.
All student drop off will happen at the Dreyfoos Cafeteria. There will be signs available for guidance.
The Palm Beach Public School Orchestral Strings Foundation will be providing pre-concert food and drinks for all of the students performing free of charge to facilitate drop off. Food and drinks will be located in the Dreyfoos cafeteria starting at 4:30pm.
What will be served? Pizza, popcorn chicken, fruit and water.
Student drop off times are below by class. Please drop your child off at the Dreyfoos cafeteria at the specified time to facilitate the process.
- 5:15 PM: Vivaldi Orchestra, and Beethoven Strings
- 5:30 PM: Chamber Orchestra, Mozart Wednesday and Mozart Friday
- 5:45 PM: Kinderstrings and Introductory Strings
There are teacher volunteers that will be with the orchestral strings students in the Dreyfoos cafeteria during the whole concert. The concert will be live-streamed for students to watch.
There will be no intermission during the concert. The concert will run straight through. The expectation is that families respect the full run of the concert as the fifth graders will perform last and we want to show them our respect and support.
Dismissal will be coordinated by orchestra. Teacher volunteers will bring out the students in order, for example: Kinder Strings first, Introductory Strings second, Mozart Wednesday third and so on. Please be patient as we want to keep the dismissal organized for safety reasons. Pickup will be outside of the theater, in the front of the auditorium.*** (There will be signage available to facilitate the process).
If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].
We look forward to celebrating this special evening of music with you and your families.
Best Regards,
Mr. Smith and The Palm Beach Public School Orchestral Strings Foundation
