Washington Writer's Retreat A private writing & research residency in the nation's capital

From 2009-2014, the Washington Writer’s Retreat was a private residency in Mount Rainier, Maryland, a small town immediately adjacent to Washington, DC. Focused on the craft of writing, it was a working sanctuary for those pursuing research or developing new projects. The retreat was nestled in a four-town arts district, with handfuls of studios and shops to explore.
