The good news: roses are blooming in the Bishop's Garden. The bad news: the Wayside Cross - which dates to the time of the early Christian pilgrimages has sustained significant damage. The conservationist now working on stonework in the Bishop's Garden and the Cathedral's stonemasons have determined that the damage to the cross is likely the result of vandalism. Please be careful when you are visiting the garden.
