The MSRDC Research & Development Consortium (MSRDC) is a solutions provider, research development partner and strategic asset to more than 60 research institutions, industry and government partners. portance to ECBC, Department of Defense (DoD) and other Federal agencies engaged in science and engineering research. In partnership with the DoD, the MSI STEM Research & Development Consortium (MSRDC) supports and stimulates Science and Technology (S&T) related research at Minority Serving Institutions for real-world applications to real-world problems to maintain and enhance the technological dominance of the United States in a competitive world. The Consortium members include minority serving institutions, including historically black colleges and universities, Hispanic-serving institutions, tribal colleges and universities and other minority serving institutions as defined by the US Department of Education. The MSRDC was formed under the authority of Section 252 of the FY 10 National Defense Authorization Act codified in 10 USC 2362, "Research and Education Programs and Activities: Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Serving Institutions of Higher Education."
