DC Palestinian Film and Arts Festival THE DC PALESTINIAN FILM & ARTS FESTIVAL (DCPFAF) SHOWCASES THE DIVERSE AND CREATIVE WORK OF PALESTINIAN FILMMAKERS AND ARTISTS ACROSS THE GLOBE.

WE SPARK CONVERSATIONS ABOUT FILM, CULTURE, & DIASPORA, STARTING WITH THE PERSPECTIVES OF PALESTINIAN ARTISTS. The DC Palestinian Film and Arts Festival (DCPFAF) champions the work of Palestinian artists and filmmakers in Palestine and in diaspora, showcasing the range and complexity of Palestinian identities and narratives. DCPFAF is a volunteer-run 501c3 nonprofit that has drawn national and international attention for providing a unique platform in the District for Palestinian filmmakers and artists. The stories shared in this festival are not necessarily about Palestine, nor are they stories necessarily about Palestinians. The aim of the DCPFAF is to reflect the dynamic formation of a transnational identity common to Palestinians and diasporic communities in general.

We’re excited to share our film program lineup for the
2026 DC Palestinian Film and Arts Festival!

Witness Palestinian storytelling from all over in short films and full-length dramas and documentaries, all screening at the Angelika Pop-Up at Union Market.
These films capture the essence and reality of Palestinian life, highlighting the generational resilience of Palestinians from across the diaspora.

We’re so honored to showcase these wonderful films and bring them to D.C. There’s still more to come, so save the date for October 22-25. We’ll soon be sharing arts events and even more opportunities to celebrate 15 years of DCPFAF, so don’t forget to follow along and sign up for our email list!

Did you know that DCPFAF is 100% volunteer run?

Our 2026 festival is happening October 22-25, and if you’ve ever been interested in volunteering during our festival run, now’s your opportunity! We’re looking for short term volunteers to help bring our festival to life.

Use the Google Form in our bio to sign up to volunteer in-person for this year’s festival. The full program and tickets will be launching soon, so stay tuned!

If you cannot volunteer or attend, you can still support the work right now with a contribution to DCPFAF. Please consider donating to ensure we have the resources to make this year’s festival a success.

DCPFAF is seeking year-round volunteers for three key roles:

April is Arab American Heritage Month! This weekend, we will be attending the 4th Annual DC Arab Culture Festival.

Join us at 2:00pm and 4:00pm for special short film screenings from local Palestinian filmmakers, as well as a discussion with the filmmakers after the 2:00 screening.
