She graduated from the University of Maryland in 2023 with a double degree in Psychology & Neurobiology. She is passionate about improving mental health equity for communities of color and is interested in studying sociocultural factors of mental health and intervention implementation/adaptation. Devin Freeman was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in Kernersville, North Carolina. A transfer student from the United States Military Academy at West Point, he graduated from the illustrious North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. A man of faith, Devin believes change for tomorrow begins with the work we do today. His academic passions center on the intersections of politics, law, and public policy, shaped through internships with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the Harris–Walz presidential campaign. Andrew Dominguez Farias is a J.D. Candidate and Public Interest Scholar at the University of Nebraska College of Law. A Houston native and Carleton College Posse Scholar, Andrew has established himself in Lincoln through local nonprofit leadership and community organizing. As a former lobbyist, his legislative and policy successes include establishing the Nebraska Commission on Asian American Affairs, securing free city busing on election days, and creating a Youth Lobby School program. Andrew also advocates for LGBTQ+ communities statewide while serving on the boards of OutNebraska and Star City Pride. Anaum Virani is a graduate of the University of Florida where she earned a B.A. in Religion and Political Science. During her undergraduate career, she held multiple leadership roles and engaged in community-based work across campus. Her experience spans several sectors of government, including work with the U.S. Department of State and a congressional internship. Her most formative work was a two-year endeavor that took her across Florida to research how non-governmental collectives influence the administration of justice for legal system involved youth. Anaum currently works in the field, building on this research to improve outcomes for children through direct engagement with courts, community organizations, and young people.

Terry Rogers II is a Mississippi-born organizer and activist from a rural community (Quitman, MS) with only two stoplights. He is the founder of the Student Coordinating Initiative Justice Team and a student at Tougaloo College. Terry is the 93rd Student Government Association Vice President, where he works to amplify student voices and expand access to opportunity. At just 18 years old, he made history as the youngest person to run for statewide office in Mississippi history, driven by a deep commitment to justice and service. After losing his father to COVID-19, his dedication to public leadership and community advocacy strengthened, grounding his work in faith, resilience, and grassroots action.

A North Florida native, he is committed to ensuring care is accessible across race, language, and distance. Originally from Hazel Green, AL, Mackenzie is studying International Relations in her pursuit of a career in civil or human rights law. Mackenzie is passionate about prisoner rights advocacy, bipartisan political dialogue, and working to address injustices across the Deep South. Katrina Greene is a first-generation, Trinidadian-American junior at Cornell University studying Government. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she is passionate about dismantling legal and economic barriers facing immigrant communities and women of color. At twelve, she presented at the National Urban League and Columbia University’s Teachers College on the criminalization of Black girls, sparking a lifelong commitment to social justice. At Cornell, she serves as a Policy Analyst for the State Policy Advocacy Clinic, Vice President of the Black Ivy Pre-Law Society, and President of External Relations for the Caribbean Students Association. A 2025 Black Girlhood Studies Fellow, Katrina plans to pursue her JD and become a civil rights attorney.
