This week, some of our incredible CASA DC staff and interns took to Capitol Hill to share the mission of CASA DC with legislators and their teams.

Meeting with policymakers is essential to ensuring they understand the needs of DC youth involved in the foster care and juvenile justice systems and the critical role CASA volunteers play in helping them achieve safe, stable, and permanent futures.

Together, we can build stronger support for our city's youth and help ensure every young person who needs a CASA has a dedicated advocate by their side.

Grab your team or come solo, and take part in one of the best Trivia nights in town, hosted by Geeks Who Drink! Today is CASA/GAL Volunteer's Day, where we recognize and celebrate the incredible CASA volunteers who stand beside children in foster care and the juvenile justice system.

Every child deserves safety, stability, and someone who will show up for them consistently. CASA volunteers show up everyday, advocating for our youth's best interests and helping judges make informed decisions that can shape their future.

Today, we thank all of the CASA volunteers who make this work possible. Your compassion, dedication, and advocacy change lives every day, building brighter futures and stronger communities.
