Save the date! ⭐️ The 2026 Huether Lasallian Conference will be Nov. 19-21, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Themed “Caring for the Whole Child, Renewing the Lasallian Educator,” this year's gathering will examine how the Lasallian mission calls educators to care for the whole child through relationship-centered education, social-emotional learning, spiritual formation and practices that sustain healthy and mission-driven communities. What a week! 💙 Lasallian Social Justice Institute participants are traveling back home today from Syracuse, New York, after a moving week of education, awareness, community and connection. Through engagement with local organizations, schools and community leaders, they deepened their understanding of how systemic inequities shape the lives of children and families, and how Lasallian ministries are called to respond.

⭐️ “De La Salle’s mission is just as relevant today as it was centuries ago,” said Johnston Institute participant Sara Lenish from CBA Syracuse. “Students still need adults who believe in them, walk beside them, and remind them of their God given worth.”

Focused on the founding story and vision of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, the first session of the Brother John Johnston Institute of Contemporary Lasallian Practice brought more than 50 Lasallians together at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois in mid-July. The Regional meeting gave cohort VI participants an opportunity to delve into the history of the Lasallian mission and charism, network with other educators, and pray and grow as a community.
