We're stoked to be co-hosting the 2nd ANNUAL DESIGNER SHOWCASE with Adventure Theatre MTC and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. The showcase is on Monday January 14, 2019 from 11am-2pm at Woolly Mammoth (641 D Street NW), highlighting the work of D.C./Baltimore area professional theatrical designers of color, designers who are Deaf, designers with disabilities, or designers who are transgender, non-binary, or gender non-conforming. Please send your submissions to [email protected] no later than 5pm on Monday December 17. If you can’t attend this event but want to be included on the designer list, please indicate that in the notes section.
***Information on how artistic and production staff can attend COMING SOON!***

MORE INFO:
In order to provide enough time for guests to have meaningful interaction, capacity has to be limited. The selection committee will choose a total of 16 artists to display their work and talk to the leaders of the DC area theatres. For those designers not selected this year, we will also make your information available to producers by way of email.
For this event, the organizers define “professional theatrical designers” as individuals who for ~5+ years have sought and/or gained paid employment as a designer or design assistant outside of an educational institutional setting. This event is not for current undergraduates or graduate students who do not meet the above definition. If you have a question about whether this specific event is or isn’t the best fit—please reach out to the organizers. (We have other opportunities for you if not this event!)
If you know a designer who you believe should attend, feel free to share this information with them.
The event is made possible in part by the Weissberg Foundation’s Fund for Diversity in Theater.
