Rizpah is the name of a biblical character and grieving mother, who devastated by the public ex*****on of her two sons, takes her position on a rock and relentlessly keeps vigil over their dead bodies, until her powerful actions lead to justice. Rizpah in greek also means HOPE, and it is from this story of resilence in the midst of great suffering, that women can begin to Shift Pain into Purpose, as they advocate on behalf of their murdered sons and other victims of senseless violence.
