Rizpah Network page, seeks to provide a place to raise awareness of violence in our community, particularly black on black homicides and suicides, support surrivors and victims of violence, by encouraging them to work through the often"ragedy" and painful process of grief, in a supportive and

caring online community. Strengthen our neighborhoods, by engaging and calling the community to action; in order to save our sons and daughters, from the senseless violence that is rampant in communities throughout the United States. Rizpah is the name of a biblical character and grieving mother, who devastated by the public ex*****on of her two sons, takes her position on a rock and relentlessly keeps vigil over their dead bodies, until her powerful actions lead to justice. Rizpah in greek also means HOPE, and it is from this story of resilence in the midst of great suffering, that women can begin to Shift Pain into Purpose, as they advocate on behalf of their murdered sons and other victims of senseless violence.
