When was the last time a job with a 20% approval rating was a job for life?

In any other profession, this type of job performance evaluation would result in immediate termination. Yet, because of incumbent advantage, members of Congress are re-elected at over a 90% rate, term after term.

We need to return to the concept of citizen-legislators. End the era of the "forever" job in Washington.

Péter Magyar’s supermajority win in Hungary resonated with an electorate that had seen the same leadership for a generation. By codifying two-term limits, he fulfilled a mandate to end the era of stagnant politics and individual legacies.

It is time for the United States to demand the same. Term limits are the ultimate anti-corruption measure. They ensure that government remains accountable, temporary, and focused on the future of our nation rather than the career of a politician. Hungary has chosen a dynamic, rotating democracy—now it’s our turn to bring that accountability to the U.S.

Power is a loan from the people, not a permanent possession. Let’s make sure our leaders remember that.

With the safe return of the Artemis II crew, we just witnessed what happens when a mission has a clear goal, a modern strategy, and total accountability. Decades of tenure have created a system that is often insulated from the real-world pace of change. When leadership stays in place for 30 or 40 years, it becomes harder to integrate the fresh perspectives and modern solutions our country needs to keep up with the 21st century.

If NASA can update its flight path to the Moon after 50 years, we can certainly update the way we govern. We need a system that encourages a regular rotation of new ideas and ensures our leaders stay connected to the people they represent.

The mission is clear. The standard has been set. It’s time for Term Limits.

Term limits are the modern solution for an outdated system. Our current Congress is trapped in a permanent feedback loop and unable to process the "system updates" needed for modern-day governance.

For too long, entrenched incumbents have prioritized political self-preservation over practical solutions. By closing the door to fresh leadership, we have created a system where politicians become insulated from the very people they are meant to represent. The results are clear: legislative gridlock, skyrocketing national debt, and a deep disconnect between Washington and the needs of everyday Americans.

Term limits provide the ultimate "restart" by restoring a citizen-led legislature. This ensures that new voices and new ideas can take the lead, bringing a real sense of urgency to addressing the challenges of our time. It is time to update the system and make it work for everyone.

Break the Cycle. End the Monopoly. 🔄The "Seniority System" has turned our elections into a formality. It’s a closed loop that keeps the same names in power for decades: The Funding Gap: Incumbents raise $10 for every $1 raised by challengers. That’s a financial monopoly, not a fair race. The Seniority Trap: Power in D.C. is currently based on how long you’ve sat in a chair, not the quality of your ideas. This locks out new leaders with real-world experience.
