The Supreme Court allowed Alabama to use a congressional map the courts have ruled to intentionally discriminate against Black voters. In her dissent, Justice Sotomayor rightly warns that the Court’s outrageous ruling is a threat to democracy and the rule of law.

As Deputy Attorney General, Todd Blanche dropped legal investigations into crypto companies while personally holding hundreds of thousands in crypto assets. That's a conflict of interest. So we filed a complaint.

Campaign Legal Center (CLC) is calling for an investigation into yet another blatant example of the Trump administration’s conflicts of interest with cryptocurrency.

Congress can and must act to enact protections nationwide against racial and partisan discrimination in redistricting by passing legislation to address the Supreme Court’s repeated undermining of the landmark legislation.

We filed an amicus brief urging the court to stop construction of President Trump’s Ballroom project, which is opening the door for corruption.

This presidential pet project is being funded by private donors, including major corporations like Meta, Coinbase, Ripple and Lockheed Martin, who have significant interests before the federal government in the form of large government contracts and enforcement actions.

The reliance on private funding creates serious risks for corruption. But the Ballroom is just the latest example of this administration granting official benefits — like appointments, contracts and pardons — to wealthy special interests in return for contributions. We’re tracking dozens of these corrupt pay-to-play transactions.

Major throwback! Before campaign finance lawyers were late-night regulars, Campaign Legal Center president Trevor Potter was explaining it all on The Colbert Report. The Trump administration is rewarding wealthy donors, corporations, foreign governments and those willing to pay up with pardons, dropped investigations, policy favors and more.

View our tracker, now updated with the latest instances of this corruption:

President Donald Trump has made it clear that favorable treatment from his administration is readily available — for a price. This pay-to-play relationship is a defining feature of how Trump’s second administration is operating, by embracing unprecedented levels of unabashed political corruption...
