Black Maternal Health Week is an opportunity for the Reproductive Justice movement to come together in solidarity by centering Black birthing people and birth workers who have historically had their needs neglected by the medical system.
Not only are we fighting to close the maternal healthcare gap, but this week is also an opportunity to celebrate and find joy in community organizing efforts within our movement.
