We are beyond excited to award the 2nd Herb Adderley 26 Foundation Scholarship to this amazing young man.

Jelani Thompson is a 3rd year dental student who hails from Kingston, JA🇯🇲
He earned a BS degree in Chemistry from Howard University and will receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from HUCD in 2027.

Jelani is currently #2 in his class! He is an extremely hard-working young man who deserves all the best that the world has to offer.

Eric Allen was a cornerback drafted in 1988 by the Philadelphia Eagles and went on to play for the Oakland Raiders and the New Orleans Saints. Allen had an amazing NFL career and was chosen for the 2025 Class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I discovered this autographed photo which Allen thanks my dad for all of his help. I can only imagine the conversation between these HOF Cornerbacks!

My latest discovery while going through dad’s memorabilia. This program is a program from the 1980 All Sport Halls of Fame Dinner held at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC on October 29, 1980. Included were some amazing Inductees: Herb Adderley, Bob Lilly, Jim Otto, Deacon Jones, Oscar Robinson & Jerry West to name a few. The dinner was a benefit for the Boy’s Club of New York City.

Last night was magical! So many to thank for the event coming together to be a complete success! For those that literally took planes, trains & automobles to support the Herb Adderley 26 Foundation’s 1st annual “Removing The Mask” I am eternally grateful🫶🏽 To those that bought tix or donated(thank u), we will continue to support & bring awareness to athletes combating mental health challenges.

Spent time with Mr. Mel Renfro at HOF Enshrinement week 2024. My dad & Mel were teammates on the Dallas Cowboys & won SB V in 1971. Cindy Renfro & I were little girls in Dallas. We have reconnected in the last several years. Mel Renfro was enshrined in the PFHOF in 1996.
