Special thanks to Dr. Frank Duggan HCVI’s founder for taking time to provide training to Cambodian volunteers and staffs from the One-2-One nonprofit organization. Our training is about BLS (Basic Life Support) and Six Sigma (a set of techniques and tools for process improvement).
We should be making a concerted effort to make sure every Cambodian, everyone learns these basic techniques because they’re life-saving.There’s nothing more amazing than seeing someone have a cardiac arrest drop on the street get the appropriate intervention and can bring them right back to where they were.So these simple lessons, the simple tools of basic life support are really part of basic life support are really part of the competency that we should all have as citizens.
=>To learn this course you can come to HCVI for registration that located in National Pediatric hospital or fill in this online registration form

Knowledge is power, especially when it comes to getting and staying healthy. Our health programs focus on education, as well as providing the necessary resources so that the people we serve may develop healthy habits and lead healthy lives.

In the past several months HCVI has partnered with DOMNAK SMACH Primary School in Kampong Speu province (Cambodia). The school provides education to over 400 children daily. In addition to dental and hand hygiene education, we have installed drinkable water with a capacity of 3000 L per hour, modern bathrooms, and alcohol-based hand rub stations throughout the school. We are also providing each child with their own water bottle.

Consider volunteering or a financial contribution to help us support DOMNAK SMACH Primary School.

Thank you.

As we posted last week, the work at the school in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia (approximately 500 children) continues to move rapidly forward.

A small medical /surgical clinic is being constructed and telemedicine will be introduced to manage patient care very soon. This will function as an extension and have the appearance of our HCVI Kids Care Clinic in Phnom Penh, using the same technology, electronic record, and platform for patient care.

https://www.facebook.com/HCVIKidsCareClinic/

The kids all received Dental Hygiene Education, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and were treated for GI parasites and head lice (about 40%) in late August.

We have already placed electricity (with multiple outlets per room) as well as lighting throughout the entire school and have installed flooring in the library.

We have also placed automated alcohol-based hand rub machines in every bathroom and schoolroom throughout the entire school.

The water main pipework feeding the 5 new bathrooms and hand washing facilities have been installed in the last 2 days. Drinkable water is being placed in multiple locations throughout the school for easy student access and each child will receive their own personal water bottle.

The BEFORE and AFTER are going to be pretty dramatic and will be viewable in a video soon. From squatter toilets with no sinks and no onsite drinkable water to bathrooms with flushable toilets, bathroom sinks, hand dryers, and alcohol-based hand rub machines within a period of weeks is quite a transition.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO FOLLOW OUR PROGRESS and CONSIDER A DONATION as there is much to come. Our goal is to create a low-cost, reproducible model for rural schools in the developing world that creates a safe, hygienic, and healthy environment conducive to the children's well-being and learning!

As we mentioned in our previous post, in the coming weeks, we will be upgrading the toilet facilities and water at the school in Kampong Speu (approximately 500 children) where we completed our latest dental mission.

Using www.floorplanner.com, we are able to create low cost but modern and reliable construction plans for the new layout of the bathrooms and other project areas - leveraging technology to drive down cost and maximize excellence and quality.

Please, friends and colleagues, visit our other FB Pages and share them with your friends. We are making a major push to develop our base of supporters. I have been the primary funder of HCVI since its inception in January of 2014, but that no longer remains viable as we continue to grow and expand the impact HCVI has around the globe. What I have shared tonight is the tip of the iceberg and you will be hearing more in coming weeks. We need volunteers, social media pros, and individuals who can generously provide financial support. In advance, I want to express my appreciation for any support that you can provide. Warm regards. Frank

HCVI has created a warm bright environment for learning into the children's library with the installation of lighting, a new floor, and books. This is part of a MAJOR 3+ year MOU with the Domnak Smach Primary School and Khsach Poun Primary School (Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia). Lighting Flushable Toilets, Hand Sanitation, and Drinkable Water will be completely installed in the next 2 weeks so check back in to follow the exciting progress that will dramatically alter the health and well-being of the approximately 500 children who attend these schools.

On August 19th HCVI went on a dental mission to the Kompong Speu province. The mission was held at and in partnership with the Domnak Smach Primary School and the Khsach Poun Primary School. Our day was spent educating the children on the importance of dental hygiene as well as hand hygiene. HCVI not only plans to continue our partnership with the aforementioned schools but to also expand our efforts through the diversification of provided programs in combination with increased resources into those programs which have already been established. We move forward with the intention of not only providing renovations to the facilities of these schools, of which floor plan photos have been included, but also to provide consistent updates on this and all future ongoing projects. Thank you for your support and we hope you are as excited and encouraged by our progress and plans as we are.
