In the depths of my soul, a fire burns bright,
Seeking solace and light, I embark on this flight.
With each step I take upon the trail,
I embark on a journey, where healing will prevail.
Like Harriet Tubman, who led slaves to freedom's door,
I yearn for liberation, to my very core.
With every hike, I retrace the steps of the past,
A metaphorical journey, breaking chains that amassed.
Through dense forests, I venture, fearless and strong,
Each tree a symbol of resilience, standing tall and long.
The whispers of the wind, like echoes of the past,
Guide my steps, reminding me freedom will last.
Vivid imagery paints the trails I tread,
As I hike, the weight of my burdens shed.
Stunning vistas stretch before me, wide and grand,
A reminder that freedom belongs to all, across the land.
With each ascent, I climb higher and higher,
Metaphorically scaling mountains, my spirit afire.
In the solitude of nature, I find my voice,
A beacon of hope, inspiring others to rejoice.
My heart burns with a mission, clear and bright,
To make the outdoors accessible, a universal right.
I fight for inclusivity, for all to explore,
Erasing barriers, opening nature's door.
Just as Harriet Tubman returned to free the enslaved,
I too, vow to ensure others are saved.
I share my love for hiking, breaking down walls,
Inviting everyone, regardless of their backgrounds or falls.
In my journey of healing, I discover my might,
Embracing the outdoors, my true self taking flight.
With each step, I find freedom, both within and out,
A testament to the power of nature, without a doubt.
So please join me, on this path of grace,
As I pave the way, leading us to embrace,
The healing power of hiking, the freedom it bestows,
A journey of self-discovery, where healing truly flows.
