🎓💚 THE KRoussaw FOUNDATION SUMMER INSTITUTE — THAT'S A WRAP!
Five weeks ago, a group of young people began a journey with us in Baltimore. Over the weeks that followed, we watched them learn, grow, build confidence, develop professional and life skills, explore career opportunities, connect with new people, and begin thinking differently about what's possible for their futures.
Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating that journey at their graduation.
It was an incredible moment—not simply because a five-week program had come to an end, but because we could see the growth that happened along the way.
We are incredibly proud of every participant who showed up, challenged themselves, and completed this experience. And we are equally grateful to every family, facilitator, partner, volunteer, supporter, and community member who believed in what we were building.
The KRoussaw Foundation Summer Institute was created to provide young people with more than programming. We wanted to provide exposure, preparation, skills, relationships, experiences, and access to opportunities that can help shape what comes next.
And Baltimore showed us that we're building something worth expanding.
📍 What began here is only the foundation.
Our vision is bigger than one summer, one program, or one city. We are building toward bringing this type of opportunity to young people throughout the East Coast and beyond.
To our graduates: Congratulations. We are proud of you. Keep going. Keep growing. Keep believing that there is more ahead for you. 🎓
