This Saturday, December 6th, we’re hosting a Community Drive at The Winter Festival, and you won’t want to miss it!

Join us at the National Arboretum from 10AM–3PM as we collect new and gently used winter items for families in need. From diapers and formula to maternity clothes, pajamas, and children and infant winter wear essentials, every donation helps keep someone warm this season. ❤️🧤

The season of thoughtful giving is here. 💛 This December, DC Squared is transforming our 11th annual Procrastinator’s Holiday Market into It’s a Wonderful Ward, a full month of joyful, local celebrations across Ward 5.
Start with Small Business Saturday on Nov 29 and Giving Tuesday on Dec 2, then join us at the Winter Festival and Tree Sale in partnership with the U.S. National Arboretum🌲 Friends of the National Arboretum on Dec 6 and at Kraken Kourts & Skates on Dec 20 for our expanded Procrastinator’s Holiday Market.
Plus, RIAMS Rhode Island Avenue Main Street and UBRMS Bladensburg Road Main Street will host workshops, pop-up markets, swaps, and free activities all month long. 🎁
With many families and small businesses navigating economic uncertainty, DC² is creating accessible, affordable opportunities to celebrate, support local entrepreneurs, and stay connected.

Northeast Summer Nights continues on Wednesday, July 30 at South Dakota Ave NE + Bladensburg rd NE, in the Jackson and Tull lot with an outdoor movie screening of 🎥 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 — the 2nd film in our Beyond the Realm series exploring cinematic worlds beyond our own!

The event begins at 5:30 and the movie starts at 6:00PM! Enjoy live arts activities, free popcorn + cotton candy, and a throwback to the origin stories of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most unconventional heroes! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️
