Hello, everyone! My name is Abby Leslie and I am volunteering for the international business internship program (IBIP). Leadership initiatives and IBIP has given me the opportunity to work with a developing business in Nigeria. Gloria Bukata is a thirty-year-old woman living in Bauchi State, Nigeria who is trying to start her own tailoring business ti provide for her family.
Leadership initiatives is a non-profit that gives high school students, like myself, the opportunity to get involved and help businesses, like Gloria's get off the ground.
, the Tuesday right after Thanksgiving, is right around the corner. I know I myself will be donating to a worthy cause and you should too! Let this be that for you. Through IBIP and leadership initiatives, real change can be made, but only so much can be done without money.
