For a CA-1, you have three years from the date of the injury to file. However to claim continuation of pay for the first 45 days, the claim must be filed within 30 days. Meanwhile, the time limit for filing a CA-2 is 3 years from the last exposure to the work duties that contributed to the occupational disease. There is no continuation of pay in occupational diease cases, only wage-loss compensation.
