At 5PM Wednesday, February 19th at the DC State Board of Education Meeting (441 4th St NW) we call on those who support our immigrant students to demand that the Mayor and DCPS Chancellor send clear guidance to our school based leadership on how to uphold and enact our educators in fulfilling DC OAG's Guidance on Immigration Enforcement in our schools.

On February 5th at 5:30PM via Zoom DC-CORE will host a meeting for all WTU members to discuss how to support newcomers and immigrants in the DCPS community. We cannot wait for others to act, so lets come together to share what we are already doing in our schools as well as make a plan to support all of our students by pushing the WTU and DCPS to do more. Here we can ask each other questions, talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the Tentative Agreement and potentially begin the discussion on how we can build the power of the WTU so that we can get even bigger wins in the future.
