We’d like to take a moment to recognize three incredible leaders who have helped shape Region 8 — Lauren, Jose, and Jaffer!

As Lauren and Jose officially roll off as Governors, we want to thank them for their outstanding service, dedication, and leadership. Their impact goes far beyond meetings and titles — they’ve brought new ideas, built stronger connections, and helped change the face of Region 8 for the better.

And then there’s Jaffer… who apparently didn’t get the memo about “outgoing.” 😂 He’s coming back for another term, ready to keep the momentum going and continue serving Region 8!

Lauren, Jose, and Jaffer have each brought their own energy, perspective, and leadership to the Board, and Region 8 is stronger because of it. They’ve shown that leadership isn’t just about holding a position — it’s about showing up, bringing people together, challenging the status quo, and leaving things better than you found them.

Thank you, Lauren and Jose, for everything you’ve given to Region 8, and best of luck on whatever comes next. And Jaffer… we’ll see you at the next meeting. 😎

Here’s to great leaders, lasting friendships, and continuing to make !

Day 2 of our Fall Assembly started off a little wild, but the energy carried right into another great day of conversations, collaboration, and connection!

We heard updates from across our Sections, shared best practices on everything from finances to events, and wrapped up with breakout discussions focused on exchanging ideas and finding new ways to help our Sections grow and thrive.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make another Fall Assembly a success. We’re excited to see you take these conversations and ideas back home and continue doing the awesome work that makes Region 8 great! 💙

Took a break from today’s sessions to go on a technical tour of the newly completed North End Expansion at Boise State’s Albertsons Stadium. 🏈

Got a behind-the-scenes look at the finished expansion and learned more about the engineering, design, and coordination that went into bringing the project together.

Pretty cool getting to experience the finished product up close and we couldn’t leave without getting a group photo on that famous blue turf! 🔵🟠
