We are looking for reliable and responsible drivers for a few hours of gig work per week. We are a new food box startup called DC Food Box. Our mission is to get food and supplies to those in need.
We have two types of deliveries. The first is single houses where you will drop a box that was purchased. You can deliver from house to house. The second type is for those with larger vehicles only and those are deliveries of 10-50 boxes to one location, for example a homeless shelter.
Pay $2 for the first box delivered to a location, $1 each additional box.
The shift is currently scheduled Monday 10 am - 2 pm. You will pick up the boxes from our distribution center in Glover Park. You will then use the Get Swift app to access and complete your route.
This is a long-term contract position. We expect drivers to stay on for at least 6 months.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
Must be able to work independently
Working smart phone required
Must be willing to drive throughout DC
Must possess a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license and insurance
Must be responsible, reliable, trustworthy, and hard working
You must pass a background check
