The House Ethics Committee report on the gross misconduct allegations against former congressman Matt Gaetz confirms the depths of his criminal behavior. Gaetz paid for drugs and sex—including r**e of a minor—and improperly accepted gifts in violation of House ethics rules and Florida state laws. This is the man Donald Trump hand-picked to hold the top law enforcement job in our country.

While Gaetz is no longer up for consideration for Trump’s administration, there are numerous other cabinet picks with allegations of sexual misconduct. The Senate must do its job and reject these dangerous individuals.

For those facing medical emergencies, this terrible reality can be deadly, forcing people to travel great lengths to access care after being turned away from their local hospitals.

All of this is the result of Donald Trump’s abortion bans.
