Fruitport District Library has teamed up with Joinustohelp to offer summer lunches!! Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12-1 throughout summer we'll have two varieties of prepackaged lunches.
Each lunch has a different protein, fruit, juice box, and assorted goodies.
Option one today we have bean dip with fritos, fruit blend, sunflower seeds, and juice box.
Option two is beef jerkey, fruit blend, orange/sunflower mix, and graham crackers

Meet Dan and Linda, our volunteers of the month! Dan and Linda have been married for 55 years! The duo has been volunteering for over 20 years and have collectively volunteered over 5,040 hours.
When asked why they volunteer their time to end hunger and why hunger-relief is important to them they said, “Growing up, we did not come from middle class families. We [are] here to give back. We came from food insecurity. We stretched a can of salmon to feed the nine of us.”
They also said, “The average volunteer lives 4 years longer than those that don't. Here you develop a whole new social network outside of your church or neighbor's. It gets you out of your comfort zone, you make lots of lifelong friends.”
