The road from “on repeat” to Grammy-nominated starts now.

First Round Voting for the 2027 Grammys is officially open! Recording Academy Voting Members are the performers, songwriters, producers, engineers and musicians behind the music. They’re casting their votes to help determine this year’s nominees.

The Grammy is the only music award with nominees and winners chosen entirely by music creators, for music creators. Every nomination starts with recognition from peers who know what goes into making a great recording.

Voting Members: make your voice heard. Access your ballot and voting resources through your Member Portal, or find your ballot in the Grammy One app.

🎶 Sonic Blue is LIVE (beta)!

The brand-new home for the DMV music community is officially open at https://sonic-blue.org/. It's one platform that connects the whole scene across DC, Northern Virginia, and Suburban Maryland.

* Fans can discover local artists, follow them, RSVP to shows, buy tickets, and stream music and shop merch all in one place.

* Artists get a real home base. Showcase your music and videos, find and apply for gigs, grow a fanbase, and get paid right through the portal.

* Venues and talent buyers can fill open nights with local acts and handle booking, offers, and tickets in one spot.

* Booking agents and promoters can route their rosters through the DMV, compare offers, and manage holds.

* Service providers like managers, engineers, photographers, teachers, and lawyers get discovered by the artists who need them, and can take paid bookings.

Sonic Blue is for everyone - all genres, all ages, all experience levels, all backgrounds. First open mic or 20 years gigging, lifelong fan or new in town, you belong here.

It's free for individuals and musicians. Make or claim your profile, get listed, get found.

And this is just the beginning! We're adding a ton of new features every week, so what you see today is only a first look. We're still in beta, so expect some rough edges. Poke around and tell us what you want next.

Here's the ask: Sonic Blue is a DMV Music Alliance initiative. We're a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) funded by this community, and we need your donations to finish it. Every dollar goes toward building it out and keeping it free for the musicians and gig workers who need it most.
