Add AED location stickers to golf carts so players can quickly locate the nearest AED during a cardiac emergency-because every second counts and could save a life?⛳️❤️

Having access to AEDs is not just about having them on site, its also means their locations are clearly marked with visible signage. With the advocacy work of our New York Project ADAM affiliates, 8 additional AEDs are now accessible at their local golf course. They also added stickers on the windshield of every golf cart that lists the locations of all the AEDs on the course. ⛳

A heartfelt thank you to school nurse Patrice Brophy for her passion and commitment to developing a Cardiac Emergency Response Team and Plan, helping ensure the campus is prepared to respond to a cardiac emergency. It was a pleasure working with such an enthusiastic and dedicated administration and staff throughout the designation process.

The Project ADAM New York volunteer team had a great time at the Hudson Valley Renegades Education Day game last week! We were honored to be recognized during We Care Wednesday and loved teaching CPR and AED skills to so many enthusiastic and engaged students throughout the day.

It was also exciting to see Alden Place Elementary School proudly displaying its new Heart Safe School banner and to watch Jordan Schoen throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Project ADAM New York celebrated Heart Month with the Community Synagogue of Rye to teach the congregants how to recognize sudden cardiac arrest and respond with Hands-only CPR and an AED. Thank you to Jacey Taub, Margie Grossberg and Deb Lewis for organizing the event. We are so appreciative of all of our volunteers who came out to support this effort including the PCRRB EMS, WMCHealth Pediatric Residents and NYMC Medical Students. It was a wonderful community collaboration.
