The Project ADAM New York team was excited to participate in the WMCHealth & G.O.O.D. For Girls, Inc. Career Expo again this year. We hope these girls feel empowered after learning how to perform CPR and use an AED to save the life of someone in cardiac arrest.

Project ADAM New York celebrated Heart Month with the Community Synagogue of Rye to teach the congregants how to recognize sudden cardiac arrest and respond with Hands-only CPR and an AED. Thank you to Jacey Taub, Margie Grossberg and Deb Lewis for organizing the event. We are so appreciative of all of our volunteers who came out to support this effort including the PCRRB EMS, WMCHealth Pediatric Residents and NYMC Medical Students. It was a wonderful community collaboration.

During a cardiac emergency, every second counts and so does every role.
Assigning clear responsibilities helps reduce chaos, improves response time and increases team confidence.

Today we honor Adam on his birthday πŸŽ‚

Adam passed away at just 17 years old from sudden cardiac arrest, but his life continues to save lives every day.

Because of him, schools and communities are better prepared to respond to sudden cardiac arrest. He is and always will be the ADAM behind Project ADAM. β™₯️
