VeryLoudYouth

VeryLoudYouth We aim to expand the social and economic development of youth in Nigeria. We have now broadened our mission to include developing young leaders.

Our work started in after-school groups where students were free to express themselves ‘loudly’ (hence the name).

This is your story, it is your life. It is the expression of the things you will go through in this part of the world. No one really prepared for you this, they said it was a land of opportunities. They said that you will find fortune along the way; you believed them. Even though you were starting to find your feet in your own country. You believed them when they said you could be anything you want to be in this country. And so, you set out on a journey, not exactly sure what your future will hold. With hope in your heart, and praise on your lips, you set out for what will be the greatest adventure you will ever know. This then, is your story. For you and those like you: welcome to America.

What no one tells Africans is that there are two types of people in America. Those who love her, and those she will love back.

Looking for a job in Nigeria is like looking for water on cocoyam leaves; job opportunity is almost non-existent.
