We are proud to announce the appointment of Joseph Souza, 2025 Citizen’s Mr. Joseph was selected during our virtual interview process for The Citizen’s Pageant. Born and raised in Maryland, USA with roots from Lima, Peru, Joseph is passionate about meeting new people,
“Meeting new people and having engaging conversations where I learn new things is something I'm truly passionate about. Therefore, I've always had a drive to travel the world, meet new people, and see new places. During my year of service, I'm excited to meet new people and hopefully make an impact in their lives through service.” He will serve as an international ambassador for sustainable development during his year of service.

TGC Collective is excited to announce the upcoming launch of The Citizen’s Pageant, a pageant to celebrate and honor outstanding individuals dedicated to sustainable development and impactful work in their communities. We are in search of our next Mr. and Miss ambassadors to represent the values and mission of our organization.

Do you have a passion for global citizenship and making a difference? We invite you to participate in a virtual selection process where candidates will be evaluated on their speaking abilities, knowledge of sustainable development, and the positive impact they’ve made around the world.

The 2022 Fund the Future Entrepreneur Grant goes to Esther Ajari, Founder of The TriHealthon in Oyo, Nigeria. Esther will receive a $1000.00 grant to support her business which seeks to improve the health and well being of vulnerable populations in Africa. The 2022 Fund the Future Global Citizenship scholarship goes to Vermon Washington of Monrovia, Liberia. Vermon will receive a $1000.00 scholarship to continue his studies in civil engineering at The Monsignor Stephen Kyne Technical College.
