The Upper Georgia Avenue Main Street is under new management with SB Works, a DC Based small business support non-profit.

We strive to represent and help support the development of the businesses, communities, and residents of the Upper Georgia area Upper Georgia Avenue Main Street is a program of the Center for Nonprofit Advancement, along with The Parks Main Street program (serving the Riggs Park and Manor Park neighborhoods). We support existing and new small businesses along Georgia Avenue, NW, between Missouri and Eastern Avenues through Technical Assistance, direct grants, promotional opportunities, and more. We also put on free community events to promote the Upper Georgia Avenue corridor. Funding for the program comes from the Department of Small and Local Business Development.

Out with the old and in with the new! Today we helped Metropolitan Podiatry Associates (7603 Georgia Ave NW Ste 100, Washington, DC 20012) with the installation of their brand new 3-panel signage and logo design with the help of Schwa Design Group!

Legible street-facing signage is an important marketing feature for small businesses. They establish brand recognition and ensure that future customers know exactly how to find you.

🎨 That’s a wrap on Art All Night 2026! 🎨

We had an absolute blast celebrating creativity, community, and the incredible people who make Upper Georgia Avenue special. Thank you to everyone who came out, made art, danced, browsed, connected, and helped us make the night one to remember!

We’re leaving Art All Night with a brand-new mural, new friends, and plenty of new memories.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing artists, performers, vendors, partners, and volunteers who brought their talent and energy to the event and helped make it such a special afternoon for our community.

Art All Night weekend is officially underway! Still figuring out your plans for the weekend? Join us for the Mural at Missouri. Stop by and meet artist Katie Brinkley as she brings Missouri Avenue Market’s newest art piece to life.

Attendance is completely free. Children are encouraged to stop by and enjoy free coloring sheets to create their own Upper George Avenue masterpiece. The public is welcome anytime between 12-5 p.m. We’ll see you soon!
