Another Independence day celebration at the Blairs. We have hosted this gathering for at least 30 years. This was the 1st year we added a new generation to our community. Our great granddaughter Sophia Irene was here, and stayed to the very end.(past her bedtime).

The Fireworks were probably the best I have experienced in WCH. Thanks to all who made it successful.
A little rain didn't dampen the spirit of our party goers. The 7th annual Fuzz McKinney Memorial co****le tournament went on as scheduled. Oscar's grandson Logan, represented his Grandpas memory well. I even got to stand on the winners podium. (runner up with Brandon).

Thanks to all who attended. Without you all it wouldn't be possible. Especially Thanks to my wife (Chris), who organized the house and cooking responsibilities, and those who helped her and me clean up after the dinner and tournament.

Kind of bittersweet emotions were running through my mind this evening. Friends like Ron Dowler, Oscar McKinney, my Father, brother Bill, and Bob Blair no longer occupy a chair in the yard, but still continues to have an impact on our lives. It brings forward the reality our lives are so short. Cherish the memories, my friends.

A glorious day. Was privileged to perform the marriage ceremony for 2 dear Friends of mine today; Mark Hubbard and DeeDee Campbell, at the Church of Christ in Sabina. Wonderful time of worship, communion, feet washing, and "tying the knot", were shared by the family and friends. God's blessings upon this lovely couple.

Meet Paul. Paul IS as concerned as he looks about being here.

What is Paul? We are going to go to our default for black and white dogs and say maybe border collie mix. Maybe hound mix? Heck he might be part chupacabra for all we know. Our point is, we just don't know so your guess is as good as ours.

What we DO know about Paul. For starters a dog with the name Paul is definitely an interesting dog. He is around 1 year old and 37lbs. He came in with his brother who has moved on to the next chapter of his life, but Paul is still waiting. He's on the shy side and definitely could benefit from having a friendly, confident dog in the home with him.

Paul really bonds to his person once he chooses them and will be a loyal companion for someone. If you have some patience, common sense and would like to meet Paul you can stop out during business hours. If you'd like to let us know your thoughts on breed mix just based on this photo, our engagment on here would appreciate you discussing in the comments. :)
