A HUGE THANK YOU TO SQUAWK BOX!

We truly cannot put into words how grateful we are to Squawk Box for their incredibly generous donation of toys us! There is a total of 67 toys🥹🥹🥹 For a rescue like ours, enrichment is not an extra. It is an important part of helping these birds heal, build confidence, stay mentally stimulated, and simply remember what it feels like to be happy birds again. Many of the parrots who come through our doors have experienced neglect, instability, fear, or environments where their physical and emotional needs were overlooked. Being able to give them new toys to shred, climb, explore, forage, and enjoy makes such a difference. Every single toy donated means another bird gets an opportunity for enrichment, stimulation, and a little more joy during their journey with us.

Today, Tennessee lost one of its brightest lights.
Dolly Parton was so much more than a singer, songwriter, actress, businesswoman, or country music legend. She was a piece of Tennessee itself. She was kindness wrapped in rhinestones, a voice that could break your heart and put it back together, and a woman who never forgot where she came from. Her songs became part of our lives. Her laughter became familiar. Her generosity touched millions, from children receiving books through the Imagination Library to communities helped by her countless acts of giving.
Dolly’s greatest legacy was the way she made people feel. She had a remarkable ability to make an entire room feel like home.

Today, we say goodbye to a true Tennessee treasure.
We love you❤️❤️

🦜The Bird-tique is getting a little makeover! 🦜

I’ll be the first to admit it… I haven’t advertised the Bird-tique nearly as much as I should have! But that time is NOW!
I’m slowly updating and refreshing the inventory, and I’m so excited about what’s coming! We have a HUGE delivery scheduled for Saturday filled with NEW toys and goodies for your feathered friends!!! I’ll be adding new items as they arrive, so keep an eye on the website because we’re about to give it the revamp it deserves! And of course, every purchase helps support the birds here. Your support helps us provide food, medical care, toys, cages, and everything these feathered babies need. ❤️
