The Washburn Fire Department drew the raffle tonight for the upright freezer, 1/2 of hog, and $200 Kirby Foods Gift Card at our monthly meeting. We sold 100 tickets and were fortunate to sell them all Saturday at the Washburn Memorial Cruise-In. Congrats to Malena Cook on winning the raffle!!

Thank you to our generous sponsors, Grassers Plumbing & Heating, Grandy Acres (Greg & Randy Knoblauch), and the Washburn Fire Department. None of this would have been made possible with out these fine individuals and businesses!

All together the freezer raffle plus the Memorial Car Cruise-In raffles generated just over $4,300! These proceeds will continue to benefit local graduating high school students in forms of scholarships!

Thank you to our great community and the car show attendees for your support! We look forward to next years event!

Don’t forget tomorrow is the day! Cruise-In starts at 10 AM at Stringtown BBQ in Washburn, IL!

This Saturday, at the Memorial Cruise-In, the Washburn Fire Department will start selling raffle tickets for this prize package below!

$20/ticket

*Ticket sales start this Saturday, no presale tickets available!*

Only 100 tickets sold for your chance to win the following:

1. 18 Cubic Foot Upright Maytag Freezer - Donated by Grasser’s Plumbing & Heating

2. Half a hog through Eureka Locker (Standard processing included) - Donated by Grandy Acres (Greg & Randy Knoblauch)

3. $200 Kirby Food’s Gift Card - Donated by the Washburn Fire Department

We will start selling tickets this Saturday at the Memorial Cruise-In and will draw when all 100 tickets are sold. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to win a new freezer and food to stock it with! All proceeds raised will go to our Memorial scholarship fund that provides the Washburn Fire Department an opportunity to award scholarships to graduating Low Point/Washburn Seniors!

We are just over 6 weeks away from this year’s Washburn Fire Protection District Memorial Cruise-in!

Come on out for a fun filled day with raffles, music, great food, and lots of classic/unique cars! We’re looking forward to this years event! All money raised goes to support a scholarship for our local Lowpoint-Washburn High School Senior!
