🍋 A sweet stop while out on errands today! 🍋

The Washburn EMS crew happened to come across the Washburn Elementary Summer School students running an Alex's Lemonade Stand fundraiser to help kids fighting cancer. 💛

It was great to see these young community members giving back and making a difference one cup of lemonade (or a cookie, brownie, bracelet, or beaded animal) at a time. We were happy to stop by and show our support!

If you missed them today near AdventureUs, they'll be back tomorrow from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Stop by, grab a refreshing glass of lemonade and a snack, and help support a great cause!

💦 Visit Washburn EMS at the Farmers Market Today! 🚑

Stop by the Washburn Farmers Market today from 3:00–6:00 PM and say hello to the Washburn EMS crew! (Unless we're out responding to an ambulance call.)

Today's public education theme is Water Safety. Whether you're spending time at the lake, river, or pool this summer, we'll have tips and resources to help keep you and your family safe.

We'll also have life jackets and other water safety equipment on display, and we're happy to answer any questions about staying safe on the water.

🎉 Check out the 22 amazing bucket raffle prizes donated by 19 generous local businesses that will be up for grabs at our fundraiser this Friday!

How does the bucket raffle work?
We'll have two types of raffle tickets available:
💛 Yellow tickets – $1 each for prizes valued at $300 or less (displayed on yellow tablecloths)
❤️ Red tickets – $5 each for prizes valued between $301 and $780 (displayed on red tablecloths)

The more tickets you buy, the better your chances of taking home one of these fantastic prizes, so bring plenty of cash and get ready to have some fun!

🎟️ Winning tickets will be drawn at 10:00 p.m., and you do not need to be present to win.

Join us Sunday at 1pm for our annual Water Fights- back at West End Park!!

No entry fee.
No advanced signup.
Just show up with a team of 3-6 and have fun.
(Donations will be accepted)

Prior to Sunday however- be sure to support Washburn Emergency Services by attending the annual community fundraiser dance on Friday from 6pm-11pm at the EMS/Fire hall. It is the only major fundraiser we do each year, so it is incredibly important!
