We are truly humbled and incredibly grateful to Hartland University Bar, Sheila, Justin, and everyone who came together for the Ride To Remember SxS Ride.

Your generosity means so much more than a dollar amount. Every dollar raised helps Free Flags for Vets continue providing complimentary American flags to veterans across the country—a small but meaningful way for us to say THANK YOU for their service and sacrifice.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered, supported the event, or simply showed up. Even with participation numbers down from previous years, you came together and broke the previous fundraising record! 🇺🇸

We are incredibly blessed to be part of communities and surrounded by businesses like Hartland University Bar that continue to stand behind our veterans and the mission of Free Flags for Vets.

Hartland University Bar would like to thank everyone who showed up for our Ride To Remember SxS Ride. Saturday was an absolute beautiful day and we are so thankful you spent it with us! Participant numbers were down in comparison to previous years, but one thing is for sure and that is you all dug deep into your pockets to help us break our pervious record for funds raised. We had a lot of people on Saturday thank Sheila and I which we appreciate because it is a lot of work, but honestly we both feel like it is our local communities that deserve all the credit. We are so lucky to own a small business in a community that supports us and supports these events that align with our values. Saturdays Ride To Remember event raised $5,793 which will go to Free Flags for Vets to help veterans here and all over receive free flags. Although honestly it’s more then that it’s a thank you for their sacrifice.

Join us this Labor Day Weekend (September 4–6, 2026) at the Blue Earth County Fairgrounds for an unforgettable weekend honoring our nation’s veterans.

Whether you’re a veteran, a supporter, or simply looking for a great community event, everyone is welcome!

• Veteran camaraderie
• Live music featuring The Pat McLaughlin Band
• Comedians from Lafin Comedy
• DJ
• Food trucks
• Motorcycle run
• CPR, woodworking, metalworking & su***de prevention classes
• History of Military Tattoos presentation
• Fitness workout with Fit & Grit Training
• Camping available at Shady Oaks (additional charge)

🇺🇸 FFFV NEEDS YOUR HELP 🇺🇸

Every month, we receive 100+ mailed applications and 100+ emailed applications from veterans across the United States requesting an American flag.

Our mission is simple: honor our veterans by sending them a 3’ x 5’ American flag at no cost to them.

What many people don’t realize is that we are 100% donation-funded. Every flag we purchase, every package we mail, and every veteran we serve is made possible through the generosity of supporters like you.

Recently, we mailed out our last 75 flags and are working hard to replenish our inventory. The more donations we receive, the more veterans we can honor.

Reflecting on the last 23 hours of bringing awareness to veteran su***de. 🇺🇸

Over the past 23 hours, we honored those we’ve lost, those who continue to struggle, and those who need to know they are not alone. Every pair of boots, every flag, and every conversation helped shine a light on a crisis that affects far too many of our nation’s heroes.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared words of encouragement, reached out, donated, prayed, or simply took a moment to reflect. Your support—whether near or far—means more than you know.

Together, we can continue breaking the stigma, encouraging conversations, and reminding our veterans that their lives matter and their stories are important.

23 veterans a day is 23 too many. Let’s keep the conversation going and continue supporting those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
