Marine Cpl Caleb L. Erickson died in Afghanistan on Friday, February 28,2014, as a result of injuries received during an attack by a su***de bomber on his convoy. Caleb Erickson graduated from Waseca High School in 2012. The 8th Annual Caleb Erickson Memorial Day will be held August 27, 2022
The day will begin with the Fun Run/Walk starting at 9am. This is not a competitive race, rather one for fu

n and fellowship. Following the run/walk, a full lunch will be served at the Waseca American Legion from 11am- 12:30pm. There will also be a raffle for some very special items at the lunch. At approximately 12:30pm, "Caleb's Convoy" an all wheels ride will depart from the Waseca American Legion. All motorized wheels are encouraged to attend. The Convoy will start at Woodville Cemetery at approximately 1 pm for a short service to honor Caleb where he rests. Our Story

Marine Cpl Caleb L. Erickson died in Afghanistan on Friday, February 28,2014, as a result of injuries received during an attack by a su***de bomber on his convoy. Caleb Erickson graduated from Waseca High School in 2012. The 6th Annual Caleb Erickson Memorial Day will be held August 24,2019 The event will start Friday night, August 23, 2019 at the American Legion, in Waseca. Then Registration will start at 9:30AM on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at the American legion as well. Lunch will be served from 11Am to 12:30 PM. At approximately 1pm, "Caleb's Convoy" an all wheels ride will depart from the Waseca American Legion. All motorized wheels are encouraged to attend. The Convoy will make its first stop at Woodville Cemetery at approximately for a short service to honor Caleb where he rests. And then a beautiful ride through some scenic roads in southern Minnesota.
