🎃 Vegan Halloween Family Fest🎃

Join us for a fun, family-friendly Halloween celebration!

📅 Saturday, October 31, 2026
🕒 3:00–5:00 PM
📍 Greenwood Volunteer Fire Co. & Museum
45 Kernick St., Warwick, RI 02888

This event is designed as a welcoming alternative to traditional trick-or-treating for vegan children and children with food allergies. All candy shared at the event must be vegan, meaning it contains no dairy, eggs, gelatin, or honey.

We’ll have:
🎃 Indoor trick-or-treating
🎨 Halloween crafts
👻 Games and activities
🏆 Costume contest
🍬 Plenty of treats
✨ And more!

Registration is required so we can plan appropriately for the number of children and families attending. Only registered families will be able to attend, and walk-ins will not be accepted.

We are also asking each participating family to bring:

🍬 Vegan candy to share — enough for approximately 15–20 children
🥫 One canned good or other non-perishable food item to donate to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank

Costumes are encouraged, and we hope you’ll join us for a fun and inclusive Halloween afternoon! 🎃🧡

What a wonderful day at Autumn Air, Vegan Fare! 🍂🌱 Thank you so much to everyone who came out and made the event such a great time! A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who helped make everything possible, and a special thank you to our two talented chefs for sharing their delicious cooking demonstrations with us. We truly appreciate everyone who supported Rhode Island Vegan Awareness and spent the day with us! 🧡🍁

💛Celebrate the season with a fun, family-friendly afternoon featuring a group walk, vegan food, cooking demonstrations, a raffle, and plenty of autumn fun.

🎉We’re excited to welcome from The Plant Based Studio and from Mills Tavern, who will each be sharing their talents during live cooking demonstrations. Guests can also enjoy delicious desserts available for purchase from 🧚🏽

🌱 A variety of vegan food is included with the price of admission, so come hungry! Whether you’re vegan, vegan-curious, or simply looking for a fun way to spend a fall afternoon, everyone is welcome. ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for today’s beach cleanup collaboration between Rhode Island Vegan Awareness and Surfrider Foundation Rhode Island Chapter! 🌊💙🌱 Rhode Island Chapter- Surfrider Foundation

Together, we left Oakland Beach, cleaner and safer for both the wildlife who call it home and the community who enjoys it. 🐚🐦🌎

We’re so grateful to everyone who volunteered their time and helped make a difference. We’re looking forward to collaborating again in the future! 💚
