As we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary, gather your friends, family, and neighbors and cheer on the teams as they race their decorated beds down the course in a spirited display of community pride, creativity and good old-fashioned fun!

With the heat wave anticipated this week, please note the following cooling center locations across the Town of Warwick beginning Wednesday, 9am.

• Warwick Fire Station #3, 132 South Street Extension; open on an as needed basis. Please call (845) 986-5000 to coordinate.
• Pine Island Vol. Ambulance, 679 County Rte. 1; open on an as needed basis. Please call (845) 986-5000 to coordinate.
• Greenwood Lake Senior Center, 132 Windermere Ave.; open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 9 pm. If in need after hours, please call (845) 477-9211.
• Florida Senior Center, Cohen Circle; open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. If in need after hours, please call (845) 651-7800.

If you answered yes reach out today to join our yard clean-up crew. A local landscaper is helping but we need some boots on the ground. Help as long as you can.

Hazards in the yard include poison ivy, some heavy lifting, bugs, and hilly terrain.

With that said, there are different jobs for people with different abilities.

We would love it if somebody owned a goat or 6 to bring them over to help with the poison ivy.

Volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt and snacks.

🏡What a long but incredible day! 🫛

👨‍🌾Signed up so many new Harvest Homes that I'll be filling paperwork for days 😆 and it was so wonderful to finally have kids in the Children's Garden. Donated some plants to people in Greenwood Lake today. I have also placed some plants in the blessing by the community center.

🪏So many plants still to give out I'll put some hours in on Friday as well. Keep an eye on here for time to come soon.
