Our Story

The Bethany Rose Cyr Memorial Foundation is celebrating our 14th year of service to families who have a child with cancer or other deadly disease. We have helped sixteen families and awarded seven humanitarian scholarships to Tollgate High School students to date.

All proceeds help the Foundation carryout charitable works on behalf of families caring for terminally ill children. The Foundation has helped needy families in a multitude of ways including payment of essential household bills, delivery of meals, as well as other financial situations that may arise during their battle. The Foundation is composed of all volunteers for the sole purpose of funding the Foundation’s charitable acts

We are currently helping Aaden a 17 year old Tollgate high school student who was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy at age six, a progressive neuromuscular disorder. As mom Betsey says: Duchenne has its challenges, but Aaden lives a full life of meaning and purpose. We have completely remodeled his bedroom and reconstructed the bathroom to make it handicapped assessable, including tile, flooring, shower door, plumbing and new vanity.
