Hillsgrove Clubhouse provides a healthy and restorative environment for adults with mental illnesses who seek a fulfilling, rewarding, and productive lifestyle through a friendly and supportive community. Hillsgrove Clubhouse is Rhode Island's first certified Clubhouse. The Clubhouse model strongly promotes the concept of membership, a sense of belonging, and the right to self-determination for it

s members. Everyone has a purpose and shares their unique gifts with each other. Hillsgrove Clubhouse is a division of Thrive Behavioral Health. Established in 1991, Hillsgrove Clubhouse is based on the clubhouse model, which originated in New York City in 1948 with the founding of Fountain House. Clubhouses strongly promote the concept of membership, a sense of belonging, and the right to self-determination for its members. The foundation of our program is to assist members to achieve or regain the confidence and skills necessary to reach their desired goals through relationships and work. This process involves a holistic approach so that members can effectively take part in the activities of work, school, family, and friendships. New members are always welcome.

He is a friend to all, and a welcoming person to many of the individuals that come to Hillsgrove for tours. Our Open House is only a week away! Be sure to tell your family and friends to stop by and see what Hillsgrove Clubhouse is all about! Our doors will be open to the public from 8AM - 4PM, and guests are welcome to join our staff and members in the work ordered day or receive a member led tour of the Clubhouse!
