Hear from a board-certified radiologist on why the Rhode Island Senate & Rhode Island House of Representatives must pass S2032 / H7276 this session! This bill would eliminate cost-sharing for vital follow-up breast screenings.

Ahead of our event in the State House Library tomorrow, ACS CAN and our partners respectfully ask Sen. President Lawson and Speaker Blazejewski to pass S2032 / H7276.

Thank you to Rep Fogarty & Sen Zurier for leading the charge!

We did it! We made a difference and advocated for better access to healthcare for Rhode Islanders at our Cancer Action Day! After a successful CAD, Paul Adam and Ryan Strik testified in support of our co-pay bill. It passed out of committee and will now head to the Senate floor. Thank you to all the volunteers. I am amazed at the empathy, persistence, and preparedness you all have in the fight to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.

Moments ago, Congress passed the most impactful cancer-fighting bill in years. It happened thanks to cancer advocates like you who refused to back down!

Together, you sent more than 120,000 messages, made phone calls, and took to social media to urge lawmakers to reject cuts and invest in cancer research. They heard you, and they did.

Your advocacy made a difference: This bill becoming law means more people can be screened for cancer earlier, get treatment sooner, and have a better chance to survive and thrive.

Thank you for everything you do. ❤️
