Labor Day weekend may be winding down, but another very special weekend in Pawtuxet Village is just ahead!

This Saturday, the Gaspee Days Committee invites you to join us for Becoming the United States – A Patriotic Concert, a FREE afternoon of music, history and community at Pawtuxet Park.

We're coming together to commemorate an often-overlooked milestone in American history: 250 years since the Continental Congress formally adopted “United States of America” as the name of our new nation on September 9, 1776.

Thank you for STANDING ROOM ONLY at boathouse last night. Design team heard us. Amphitheater and bathrooms both voted down. There will be more interaction and altered plans-long process. We can be successful when you get involved, show up, take part. Glad everyone and the design team could find some humor as well. Good job!!!
