🎶 Last evening, the West Bay Chorale was honored to participate in the Gaspee Days Community Service at Trinity Episcopal Church in Pawtuxet Village.

As part of the service, the chorale performed North by Ryan O'Neal, arranged by George Chung, one of the featured selections from our recent Homeland concert.

With its themes of belonging, family, roots, and the places we call home, North beautifully complemented an evening of reflection on community, history, and Rhode Island's enduring spirit.

We are grateful to the Gaspee Days Committee, Trinity Episcopal Church, and all who attended for the opportunity to share music as part of this meaningful community tradition.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of an evening that brought together history, reflection, and song.

West Bay Chorale is honored to participate in this year's Gaspee Days Community Service.

Join us on Tuesday, June 9 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Cranston for an evening of readings, community singing, reflection, and remembrance centered on the history of the burning of the Gaspee and Rhode Island's role in America's story.

The service will feature participation from community members and organizations, including three musical selections from the West Bay Chorale, two of which were recently performed as part of our Homeland concert celebrating America's 250th anniversary.

As Memorial Day weekend begins, we’re reflecting on one of the most meaningful moments from Homeland earlier this month, when the West Bay Chorale and audience joined together in song for The Star-Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful.

Our concert program also included a special tribute recognizing veterans, active service members, and military families connected to members of the chorale and our community.

This weekend, we remember and honor all those who have served our country, and especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Homeland such a memorable and moving community experience.

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for Homeland this past Sunday. It was a truly special afternoon of music, reflection, and community.

One of the most memorable moments was coming together with the audience in song, especially the powerful closing of America the Beautiful. Sharing that experience together is exactly what the West Bay Chorale is all about.

To all who attended, supported, performed, and helped make this concert possible; thank you for being part of it.
