Training Week 1

We had all of our All-Summer Staff together for our first week of training! There was a lot of learning, work, preparation, and prayer filling this week. We are looking forward to the camp season ahead and are excited to see God move in the lives of campers again this year! One more week of training and then camp officially begins!

Join us for our first ever work week!
Thank you to everyone who was able to join us last Saturday for our work day! So much was completed and we are truly grateful for your hand in all of it. This week, we are trying something new. Come join us 9am-5pm today through Saturday (May 23rd) for our work week. You can come one day or multiple days if you’d like (no overnights). Lunch will be provided, so come when you can, lend a hand, and leave when you must. We hope to see you at camp!

There will NOT be a work day this Saturday (May 9th), however, we had another great work day last Saturday!! So many projects completed and many volunteers excited to help! We are so thankful for everyone who was able to come out and help us get ready for the camp season ahead. There is still a lot to get done before we welcome campers and staff, so we are looking forward to the coming work days. Join us May 16th or any day between May 18th-May 23rd to help us prepare. We will start the day at 9am, take a break for a noon meal (which is provided), and finish up at 5pm. Come when you can, leave when you must! Hope to see you there!

Many hands make light work, but they also result in many blessings! Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us on our first work day of the season! We were able to get so much done. The old snack shack got cleaned out and moved up to the new one, we made so much progress on getting the kitchen up and running, and we even got some of the games for the new game room put together. There is still a lot that needs to get done, but we are so thankful that the Lord keeps providing for us! If you are wanting to help us prepare for the camp season ahead, we still have a few more work days scheduled. Those are May 2nd, 16th, and 18th-23rd. We’ll start the day at 9am and finish up at 5pm, so come when you can and leave when you must! There will be a lunch meal provided. We hope to see you there!

🧽🧹Come join us for a work day! 👷‍♂️🔨
We’ve been anticipating the return to camp since last fall and can’t wait to have campers and staff here with us! If you’re just as eager to get back on the camp grounds as we were, come join us this Saturday, April 25th for our first work day of the season! If you can’t make this one, come out for a different one (or two) on another day! The other work day dates are May 2nd, May 16th, and May 18th-23rd (our work week). We’ll start the day at 9am and finish at 5pm, so come when you can and leave when you must. A lunch meal will be provided. We need your help and hope you will be blessed too! We hope to see you there!

Did you hear about our 2026 Bring-A-Friend DEAL?!

Here's how it works: You must have been a previous camper at FaHoCha. You have invited a new camper to FaHoCha, and they are going to be there your same week. You must request this at the registration table on the first day of your week of camp. You and the new camper would both receive credit to be used for the snack shack. The credit is $25 for all camps except for Beginner Camps. For Beginner Camps, the credit is $15. This is also for each new camper that you bring! So, bring those newbies to have the same great experiences as you/your campers!

The news is out but if you haven't heard, this year's theme for camp is "Cross Training" and our theme verse is 1 Timothy 4:7-8!

This year, we will be talking about the importance of training to be more like Jesus. Our theme verse says, "... for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way..." so that is our aim this summer.
