Addiction is a health issue, not a moral failure. Let’s replace judgment with compassion, support recovery, and help end the stigma.

I spent so much time preparing for every possible worst-case scenario that I forgot to live in the present. Most of the things I worried about never happened, but the stress felt real anyway.

Sometimes what looks like a bad habit is really an attempt to escape a feeling we don't know how to carry. Alcohol, drugs, food, scrolling, gambling, work, isolation. Different coping mechanisms, same goal: relief.

Healing starts when we become curious about what we're trying to numb, not just what we're using to numb it.

Some people never ask what happened. They just decide who you are based on the parts of your story they don't understand.

Sometimes the hardest thing isn't what you're going through. It's being judged while you're going through it.
