My Rescue Kids, we bid you farewell! The time has come for us to leave the rescue behind. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with all of you to become the future of dog rescue and ownership. I am so grateful for all of the kids and parents that helped create a very unique and amazing community. Your smiles and willingness only made the rescue world better and my heart beat. Tina, Brittney, Cherie, Alyssa and all of the wonderful people that helped. I love you and appreciate you for helping me drive this thing to fruition. Although I am saying goodbye, it is only as a rescue. You will all remain in our hearts and we hope to keep these friendships forever. We as people will continue to help our friends in rescue and promise that will never stop. We leave you in tears, of both sadness and joy, knowing that we did so much as a family. I will never forget the day Tina and I came up with this concept, I sang "Something tells me I'm into something good" by Hermans Hermits all day because I believed this was so amazing and it became more than I ever imagined in the short time we had. We leave you with smiles and so many great memories and accomplishments that we share. We now send you love and real hugs and good vibes because all of you are in our heart and today I can say, like I always have......We are Grateful Doggies...

Hey Rescue Kids! It seems like every time we try to get back up and running things change again but we miss you all!

Tina and I decided that it was time for action again even though we can't all get together.

We have put together some take home kits that can be picked up at the clubhouse so you guys can still be part of the mission!

Just comment here or msg us to arrange pick up of a kit with all you need to make beautiful decorated Mason jar dog treat gifts!

Our hope is to have the kids make a bunch and sell them among friends and family and the remainder will go to our sale at the Holiday lights show at Blue Arrow later in the month.

So excited to have the RESCUE KIDS BACK IN ACTION! THANK YOU!

The Grateful Doggies and The Rescue Kids will be holding some great, creative contests every few days during the school shutdown to keep kids noodles working! 1st contest is...

SIDEWALK CHALK CREATIVITY !
Let's see some creativity with sidewalk chalk! Get chalkin' and post a picture here before this MONDAY at noon. The only requirements are that your artwork is about dogs and that you are a dog lovin' kid between the ages of 4 to 14.

Our family will choose 5 finalists and then the public will vote for the winner here on Facebook!
1st place- Amazing Art set (as seen in picture)
2nd place- $15 ITunes or Google Play gift card
3rd place- $10 ITunes or Google Play gift card

The Grateful Doggies Rescue Family and The Rescue Kids are teaming up to help during this ongoing pandemic. The children and Doggies of Orange County NY are our primary focus.

It's sad that with the closing of schools some children might miss out on their only "reliable meals" each day. We also realize with any form of the proposed shutdowns and limitations on many things we take for granted, dogs might go without food as well.

If your family and pets or families you know are facing fear of lack of nourishment, The Grateful Doggies Family might be able to help. While we can not help all of those in need we are prepared to stretch our funds to help as many as we can. We plan on offering a light breakfast and lunch for 2 weeks, shipped to homes or picked up at our clubhouse in Warwick NY for those kids that wont be getting them without school. We are also planning to provide dog food for those canine babies that are in need during the pandemic.
