Tennessee Restaurant Week is a statewide Main Street initiative encouraging communities to discover their downtown districts, explore local flavors and support the restaurants and small businesses that bring our Main Streets to life.

This is your invitation to explore Bedford County, discover a restaurant you have never tried and revisit an old favorite. Walk through our downtown communities, enjoy a great meal or sweet treat, and experience the people and places that make our county special.

Every local purchase supports the businesses that create jobs, welcome visitors and strengthen our communities.

Fall is not in the air today, but it WILL be this Saturday! Bring your autumn desserts to the Well House at 1:00 to be tasted by our judges 😍 Prizes will be awarded at 2:00.
Also, we will have an assortment of mums for sale from 1-5 PM to get your porch saying "It's Fall y'all!" So, don't miss those.
Proceeds from the sale of the mums goes to the Wartrace Chamber of Commerce to fund community events and workshops. We appreciate your support 💖

Come paint pumpkins with us during Wartrace Harvest Day on October 10! All supplies will be provided to create your own unique pumpkin creation.
Harvest Day is from 1PM to 5PM, so come over and paint something awesome to take home with you!! 🎃🎨
Also, carve and or decorate a pumpkin at home and join our Pumpkin Contest!! Bring them up to the Well House at 1PM to get maximum audience choice votes! We will award prizes at 5PM.

Everyone loves the Iron Horse Restaurant! The food is great and they are huge supporters of live music, which is a wonderful thing to find in a small town. The Iron Horse will be offering their stage as part of the Wartrace Music Festival on Saturday. Pull up a chair to watch the bands from 12PM to 3PM!

We hope to see you all at the 2026 Wartrace Music Festival on September 19!!
There will be music downtown from 11AM to 3PM at the Iron Horse and Picker's Grove (located behind The Rock House Deli). The main stage at Jernigan Field will showcase full production bands from 4PM to 11PM.

A bit of history about the Wartrace Music Festival from the Town of Wartrace website:
The first modern day music festival in Wartrace was the brainchild of a local guitar maker Don Gallagher after he and his dad, J.W., attended the 1968 Union grove Fiddlers Convention in North Carolina. Mr. Gallagher, along with two of his friends, Wendel Hartman and Jimmy Atkins, pooled their money to incorporate and produce the Wartrace Pickin' and Fiddlers Convention to be held on August 17 and 18, 1979. J.W. passed away in June of that year so the festival was dedicated to him. The music fest was a hit, with 2,000 visitors attending that first year.

Many thanks to J.W. and Don Gallagher and friends for creating the Wartrace Music Festival so many years ago. Wartrace is proud to support it and help it thrive for many years to come!
