NEVER EVER will a government agency demand payment using these methods.

Scammers prefer these payment types because they are difficult to trace and recover.

If someone claims you must pay immediately using any of these methods, stop and verify before taking action.

🚨 NEVER EVER will a legitimate government agency tell you to move your money to "protect" it.

That is one of the most common tactics used by scammers. They create fear and urgency to pressure victims into transferring funds before they have time to think.

If you receive a call like this:
✔ Hang up
✔ Contact your bank directly using a trusted number
✔ Talk with a trusted family member or friend

Only a scammer will tell you to move your money to a "safe" account.

Prevention starts with awareness. Please share this information to help protect families, older adults, and vulnerable individuals in our community.

🛑 If someone claiming to be from the government says any of these things, it's a scam:

❌ "Your money isn't safe. Move it to protect it."
❌ "Get cash and I'll send someone to pick it up."
❌ "Put your money in a federal safety locker."
❌ "Give me your Social Security number to qualify for a grant."

Government agencies do not operate this way.

When in doubt:
✔ Hang up
✔ Verify independently
✔ Never send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or personal information to unsolicited callers

Remember: Legitimate organizations will not rush you into making financial decisions.

Align9 is helping spread the word about the upcoming Mobile Food Pantry on Friday, June 20, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Morgan County, 203 Maiden Street, Wartburg, TN.

If you or someone you know could benefit from food assistance, please join us. To help keep the distribution moving quickly and efficiently, participants should bring one of the following:
✔️ Valid photo ID
✔️ Driver’s license
✔️ Current utility bill showing your address

Helpful reminders:
• Limit 2 families per vehicle
• Please clear out your trunk before arriving
• Remain in your vehicle unless directed by a volunteer

🚚🎉 Touch-A-Truck is coming to Sunbright! 🎉🚚

The Prevention Alliance of Morgan County, a facet of Align9, is excited to be part of this year's Touch-A-Truck event in Sunbright! We'll have an information table set up and would love for you to stop by, say hello, and learn more about the programs and resources available to Morgan County families.

Bring the kids for a day of hands-on fun exploring fire trucks, police vehicles, construction equipment, and more!
